Mr. Prabhakar Aloka Postgraduate in Physics from Delhi University, Joined Indian Police Service in 1986. Allotted to erstwhile Andhra Pradesh cadre. Joined Intelligence Bureau in 1993 and Superannuated as Special Director - IB in March 2020.
Apart from holding several critical positions in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Police, during about 27 years of service in the Intelligence Bureau, had field assignments in insurgency affected north eastern sector, extremist affected eastern zone and in western region handling counter espionage, counter terrorism and counter organised crime. Decorated with IPM, PPM, and Kathin Seva Padak.
