IBRAF-CHSS-MoU

The Brazil Africa Institute (IBRAF) is a non-profit organization that aims to promote international cooperation and engagement between Brazil, the African continent and other regions. With the general goal of catalyzing the political, economic and social development of countries, the Institute seeks to encourage the convergence of private sector interests, foster technical and scientific cooperation and enhance multilateral relations.

IBRAF’s expertise and vast network allow it to contribute in various areas, ranging from South-South and Triangular Cooperation to agriculture, rural development, food security, public policies, education, health, trade and investments, financial management, technical training, youth empowerment, gender equality and other topics. Its commitment to the principles of sustainable development, justice, peace, democracy and transparency guide all of the organization’s efforts, permeating its actions and projects

BRAZIL AFRICA INSTITUTE (IBRAF) and Center for Human Security Studies (CHSS) recognize the value of mutual cooperation and have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate collaboration between the two institutes for academic, research and cultural activities including student mobility activities as identified in the Scope of Activities below

Scope of Activities 

The scope of activities intended by the two institutes under this MoU shall consist of
